Retail Store supplies on day after launch

Hello fellows,

This is my first post ever in macrumors I couldn't figure out which forum is the right one.
My question is:
Is it possible that a retail store gets new iPhone 5s into stock the morning after launch day ?
I'm from Berlin.

I was the first one in the waiting line when they said there is no iPhone 5s left (

They said they don't know anything about shipments to the store :S
It's a surprise for them too they mentioned.
