Retail stores - empty tables?

Has anyone been to an Apple retail store today, and noticed if the iPad 3s and 2011 iMacs are still on display? It's one thing to remove display products for immediate replacement by newer models, but what happens when the arrival of newer models is several weeks away?

The local Apple dealer still lists iPad 3s and 2011 iMacs for sale, but now says, "Call for price."
