Retail stores (walmart, target, bestbuy, etc...) no estimated stock arrival?

Not sure if this has been discussed but it seems like every time i call a retail store to ask when they plan on getting more in stock they say "We have no idea, it's just whenever Apple decides to ship them to us." Sounds kind of ridiculous to me. I've never tried buying an item that they never have an estimated date of stock arrival. By the way its been almost 2 months and these things are still impossible to get. Doesn't that give Apple any type of sign to maybe distribute more to each store? Even the apple store sounds like they only get a couple in each week.

I agree it is a bit ridiculous. I work at Best Buy and we honestly have no idea when we are going to receive iPads, as the shipments from apple are sent very randomly.
