If i were to buy a full version retail copy of vista, would I be able to install it on two machines? But not necessarily at the same time though. Because right now I want to get and install vista on my MBP now. And then later I intend to purchase the new imac and make that my primary windows machine. So with a retail copy, I could uninstall windows from the MBP and then install it on the imac once i get that without any activiation issues?

Oh, and besides OEM discs, is the only way to purchase a retail copy of a 64 bit version of vista is through Microsoft's site? Because I only see 32 bit versions on Amazon and other places.

Yes, you can transfer the license.

If you plan on buying Vista Ultimate, it comes with the 32 and 64-bit DVDs.

I think you may have to buy a 64-bit Vista or somehow download an ISO of Vista 64-bit (it doesn't have to be Vista Home Premium 64-bit ISO, as all the DVDs/ISOs contain every version of Vista on it).
