So I rented a movie yesterday on my iPad that I haven't watched yet.
I have a Genius Bar appointment in a couple hours to exchange my iPad (mine has a yellow gradient coming from the top on the screen).

When I restore the new iPad from my iCloud, will my rented movie still be there?
I know you can't watch an iPad rented movie on another device, but what about a backup of that device on a different iPad?

Or will I just have to call Apple and get a refund? Anybody have any clue or experience with this?

Under iTunes select your iPad. Under the iTunes movie tab or rented tab, transfer it back to iTunes or another iDevice. Once the movie is back to iTunes, you should be able to restore the iPad and the rented movie will be ready to transfer back to the new iPad. I'm giving this suggestion from memory since I don't have any rented movies at the moment.

Sadly you can't move movies if they were rented on the iPad.

OP: I don't think it'll be there, but you can always file a claim with Support to try and get a refund.
