Is it my imagination? Or is the MacBook Pro Retina 13 screen slightly smaller than the Macbook Air 13 screen?

I believe the bezel is smaller on the Pro, giving it the illusion of a size difference.

The 13" retina has a smaller bezel around the screen, but both panels are 13.3" panels.

Also the 13" Retina defaults to the same scale as a 1280x800 display whereas the Air is 1440x900, maybe that's what you're seeing?

The footprint of the retina is a lil bit smaller as a whole, but the screens are pretty much the same size for the exception of that horrible metal bezel on the Air..after using the retina pro for a few days I cant ever imagine using an air with that bezel again.

Just measured the width of Air v. Retina

The usable screen on my Air measures just about 1/8 inch wider than the usable screen on my new Retina. Its not my imagination. The retina is slightly narrower. It's not just the bezel.

Doesn't seem like much but when you are talking about a smallish screen it is definitely noticeable. I'll get used to it though. The thing is gorgeous.
