Is it worth upgrading to 2.8 on the 13" mid level?

I want the portability of the 13" and 256gb SSD is enough for me, however im definitely ordering the 16gb of ram as I use VM's a lot. It'll be my much needed upgrade from a 2011 16gb MBP. Mainly for screen real-estate on the road.

Just can't decide on the 200mhz extra being worth while? I'm a Javascript dev, and while nothings particularly CPU intensive I have a lot open at once normally

Having a lot open at once isn't CPU intensive but RAM intensive, unless of course, what you have open is also taxing the CPU.

I personally don't see you benefiting from the upgrade, apart from a lighter wallet.
