Retina 13inch To 22inch Monitor

I have the 13inch retina. I used to have the 2010 macbook pro. Does anybody know if the retina can use the same cable as my old 2010 macbook pro to hook up to a 22 inch samsung monitor? OOPS I was wrong tou need mini dvi or thunderbolt

Mini-dvi is the same connector as thunderbolt so it will work.

Thunderbolt connector is like mini display port. not mini DVI.


you can use your HDMI or your thunderbolt. from what I see you will need new cable.
