Dell 27 in 5k monitor is expect to hit market close to Christmas with about $2,500.00 price tag according to AnandTech. Probably be around $2,000 with sale price in 6 months.

So retinal 5k iMac is decent price for what we get even after M295X upgrade (probably needed for any decent GPU performance).
