Retina Display - Windows 7/8 - Couple of questions

So i dont use windows a lot, just for games.

However, is windows 7/8 resolution independent, or will i after installing windows on the new macbook pro, get tiny icons etc.

Windows 7 has some resolution independence, but you'll get fuzzy icons, and many programs will be fuzzy, even when in that resolution independent mode.

As far as Windows 8 goes, the Metro side will work well, I believe, the desktop side works like Windows 7, as far as resolution independence goes.
