Does anyone know when the processors will be released from intel that are the potential ones for the retina iMac. I know its not a perfect indicator of update time but it gives me an idea.

Thanks

On a chinese website, specs of the Skylake CPUs popped up:

My best guess currently is announcement/more info at Computex, which is first week of June, then likely product announcements from Apple in October, first products in the shop/Apple Store end of Q4.

If Intel of course doesn't screw up yields etc. However, they should have some experience with 14nm by now. It's a confusing time for OEMs, because between Haswell for desktop (still...) and Skylake there's also Broadwell, though it's awfully quiet for the desktop models.
