Retina iMac shipments delayed 5-7 days!

They are just reporting what they see on the Apple store page. It might be that the RiMac is selling briskly.
 
Looks like 7-10 days now on Apple's website, with no in-store pickup availability either (at least in my area). Glad I ordered one early!
 
yeah, I just ordered last night and the ETA is Nov 11-14!
That's ok with me but it does *hopefully* mean they are selling quite well.
 
Actually, it firmly slipped to 7-10 days as of last night. I know this because I ordered and was sad to see the dates slip. The crossover from 5-7 days for custom builds slipped from 5-7 days to 7-10 days sometime between 8pm and 10pm PDT. Right when I was at the Apple Store viewing it in-person before coming home to place my order.

On the happy side, I now have one one order! (Yay!) i7, M295X, 8 GB RAM, 512 SSD, and Applecare.

My Crucial 32 GB upgrade kit from Amazon was delivered yesterday. And on Black Friday, I will be ordering a Thunderbay 4 RAID 5 array from OWC.

Life is good!
