iPad mini Retina iPad mini return Ireland

Bought my Rmini from apple online store 3 weeks ago. Having issues with screen bleed and a blue tint at the top of the screen.
Just rang apple with the issue and they are going to send me out an empty box to return,they will have a look and repair if possible or return a new pad!

This seems like a whole lot of hassle and me without an iPad for 10 days.
I really taught they would send me a new iPad as I only have it 2 weeks.
We don't have an apple store in Ireland so can't return it that way.
Anyone know how this might play out or am i as well just keep it?

Do u think they will try repair or just send me a new one?
They also said to hold onto accessories ie the charger.

Return it under the holiday return policy for a refund and order another one. In fact order a new one and keep the old one until the new one arrives and then send it back. Anything bought from 1st Nov to 25th Dec is returnable for any reason until 7th Jan.

I rang them up again and the girl told me to turn off the contrast setting and see how it is after that! Still the same.she also said backlight bleed is because iv the screen on full brightness.
Can someone tell me how the hell does people in America bring back lots of iPads there not happy with and I can't even get 1 replaced
The blue tint is also still at the top of the screen too. I'm i just being fussy?

Just take the advice from post #2 and then simple issue is resolved for you.

Again I'm not sure it Applys to Ireland.

Call Apple up and say you would like to return it for a refund and see what they say.

If you're not willing to do that then live with the iPad as it is.
