Retina keeps it below going over max plugged in wattage through screen brightness?

I play a lot of dota 2, whenever I play the game at max settings in bootcamp the max brightness gets put at 3 blobs and keeps immediately resetting when I try and raise.

Dont have this problem except in high intensity games. Advantage being power doesnt discharge
