I bought the same one. Base model in Gold. I am in the US. The weird thing is I needed more space and the 13" rMBP that sells for the same price only has 128GB.

Mine just changed to preparing for shipment as well, also base model gold. Looks like they may actually be shipping today as announced, we'll see.

When I ordered my 5K iMac it said preparing for shipment for 3 days. "Shipped" is what your looking for. I hope it changes quickly for you, but preparing to ship may not mean a whole lot.

Mine said the same thing. I clicked on the order because I was thinking of canceling instead of waiting for this nonsense; when I noticed there was no option for me to cancel because my order was "preparing for shipping."

I do really hope that means I'll get this next week, by the latest. I ordered the space gray, 512 1.2 model.

Mine said 1-3 days shipping, delivery 16-20 April. It does make sense.

Shipping 1-3 business day : it will ship between today and Tuesday night
From there, it takes up to 5 business days to be delievered, depending on where you live. That puts it at Monday to Wednesday the following week.

Mine is also Preparing for Shipment so I expect it to ship tonight or Monday night.
