I have an early 2015 Retina Macbook Pro 13" i5/256gb ssd. The computer is great, but over the last few weeks, my bluetooth service keeps showing as "Bluetooth: Not Available." Whenever this happens, it also screws up my USB ports to the point that they don't recognize anything. I've reset the SMC a few times to fix the problem, but I am really getting annoyed with it.

OS X is 10.10.5

Any tips to permanently fix the issue (other than taking it to an Apple "genius" bar)?

There are no "fixes" for dodgy hardware if the blutooth card has gone (and it sounds like it has its on the same bus as the USB if I remember correctly) then you have to get it fixed which will probably involve a logic board replacement hope it's still in warranty.
