hey guys

so I have two 85w MagSafe 2 adapters, one is from 2015, one is from 2012, I just happen to check both of them.

I have use the 85w MagSafe 2 adapters made in 2015 to charge all 2012-2015 retina macbook pros 13in and 15in when close lid, and it's all good and normal

however today I use the 85w MagSafe 2 adapters made in 2012 to charge all 2012-2015 retina macbook pros 13in and 15in when close lid, it's charging but it is making all my retina macbook pros overheated for some reason, is this normal guys?

therefore I switch back the 85w MagSafe 2 adapters made in 2015, and then it becomes normal all retina macbook pros are not hot or overheat.

The 2012 charger is an original Apple charger?

I use an 85 watt MagSafe1 charger with an adapter to charge a late 2013 13" Pro, mid 2014 13" Pro, and early 2015 13" Air with no problems.
