Retina MacBook Pro Hinge making noise sometimes

Hey guys, is it normal that if you move the display of the rMBP, I believe the hinge (?) is making some reaaally slightly clicking noise sometimes ? Or shouldn't there be ZERO sounds if you tilt the screen ? I know, it sounds really weird but I just want to know if it's an issue.

I had this too. It should have no noise at all though.
I opened it up, fiddled some cables around and screwed some screws and now I don't hear clicks anymore.

No actually I have a normal 2012 MBP. But I guess you could do the same with a Retina one. You just need another screwdriver.

You didn't tell us how old it is. Yet that said, to answer your question it's not a known issue. It should be silent. We have several at work, as well as the one I own and they are silent. It shouldn't make any noise unless it's binding, or something is lodged in the hinge.

You have the option to take it into an Apple store and have them look at it. Make an appointment and you'll be in and out quickly.

Do you mean those tiny random noises sometimes when opening the lid ? If yes, mine does it also sometimes...
Dunno if others do have the problem but its pretty normal I guess since every laptop I've ever had do this.

Reseat bottom case cover and creaking will go away.
