Retina MacBook Pro iTunes Movie Playback Issue Integrated Graphics

Just got my rMBP with dual-graphics and wanted to see how HD movies look like. As you can see from the photo I took, the extra bright parts of the scene appears to be "snowing" (for a lack of better term). This only happens when using the integrated graphics. If I switch to discreet graphics, it plays back fine.

Any idea what's causing this? Thanks.

So I posted this, and woke up this morning to see an update for f.lux: https://forum.justgetflux.com/topic/2631/build-37-2-for-el-capitan

I wasn't initially sure what [Fix for flashing with "movie mode" on some machines] do, but it seems to have fixed the issue.
