I was surfing the net (nothing naughty) and my retina macbook pro said that it had to reset due to a problem. I've NEVER had this happen on any of my macs. Is everything ok? Should I do anything?

It happens. Everything should be fine. If you want to take an extra step, clear your cache and cookies.
