Hello everyone,

This is my first time starting a thread so please excuse any small errors.

My 2.4 PowerBook is ailing after years of great service.

I would like to Purchase a new MacBook with Retina.

I must have a hundred PowerPoint presentations I have written
over that I use for teaching. The presentations are graphic intensive
with many photographs, charts and short videos used to illustrate topics.

Question: Will retina affect (change) the quality of the pictures; will retina affect output into the WXGA projector?

Thanks,

Kevin

from first I have bold : actually yes, from screen view :D
for output? not... output depends on your projector quality.
I have try with epson projector using retina 15 and lenovo g480, i have the same result :), it's from my experience

On the retina display itself, some of these images may look blurry because they may not be optimized for the high resolution display. On the projector image these would look the same as they do now, because the computer would output to whatever resolution the projector has set.
