retina MBP 15" Time Machine BackUp Stuck

I have a 1TB Western Digital partitioned into 2 halves. One I use as storage and the other 500gb i decided to use as a back up partition. I let Time Machine do all the work but it keeps getting stuck. Any ideas why?

I tried re formatting the partition and nothing helped.
