The keys on my rMBP clearly contact the screen when it is closed.
There are marks on the screen that are getting more pronounced over time.

When I first noticed them, I could clean the screen and minimize them but now it seems obvious that they are actually wearing/scratching the screen surface and are making permanent marks.

Does this happen on all of the laptops, or is there a defect on mine that lets the screen get too close to the keyboard while closed?

that should not be happening unless you had a keyboard cover
