Retina MBP no longer includes battery indicator

Hi,

I was just looking at a unboxing of the retina MBP and noticed that when they compared it to the old 15", there is no side battery indicator lights?

I never really used it but it's kinda strange that they removed it... I'm guessing the new thermal system (side frame) gets in the way of it...

They removed it and (sarcasm on) as you can see from the gigantic size of the leds it would have made the rMBP fat again
