Does anyone know if the new MacBook Pro with retina display has the same keyboard and palm rest as the old MacBook Pro? I wasn't sure if I can go ahead and purchase keyboard and palm rest protectors that are currently available.

Thanks!

Slightly different it seems. The new retina MBP has slightly different overall length and width dimensions than the previous models:

Retina 15" Macbook Pro:

Height: 0.71 inch (1.8 cm)
Width: 14.13 inches (35.89 cm)
Depth: 9.73 inches (24.71 cm)

Non-Retina 15" Macbook Pro:
Height: 0.95 inch (2.41 cm)
Width: 14.35 inches (36.4 cm)
Depth: 9.82 inches (24.9 cm)

Not a huge difference, but a palm rest cover for the old 15" may not align perfectly.

@Stetrain is correct, the new retina display MacBook pro is different size with the old MacBook Pro.

You can google for the new palm rest that fit for retina display MacBook Pro, they are already there in the market.
