so, just unboxed my 2.3/16/256 retina, and the excitement of all that is slowly being replaced by the painful process of moving files over from my 2007 mbp. since apple has done away with the ethernet (and firewire) port on the new retina, wireless may be the only option for many people (myself included), which means i'm currently sitting at 24+ hours to transfer my apps and files over to the new rig (~200gb.)

anyone else have the same issue? i'm currently in the process of trying to just make several trips with my 32gb flash drive, which is a pain in the rear but at least can be accomplished in a few hours (i hope!)
