iPad mini Retina Mini: Does a screen tap sound hollow?

Biggest difference I notice between the Air and iPad 4, is tapping the screen produces a hollow sound on the Air. How about the retina mini?

Nope. My biggest justification for getting the iPad Air was that I was much better at typing on my iPad 3 than the Mini. But as nice as the Air is, that hollow sound of tapping the Air just drove me nuts so I just came back from Best Buy with a Retina Mini. So far it sounds just as solid as last gens Mini.
