To date I have had three screen replacements on my 15' rMBP mid 2015. All three have been under AppleCare, and have been completed recently. They were as a result of StainGate and then the most recent one, last week, was due to a dead pixel.
However, one week in and I have noticed backlight bleeding on the left of the newest screen... Or, at least I think it is backlight bleeding.
In a darkened room with 100% brightness and on a black desktop the screen's left corner is lighter than the others. During the day it is imperceptible but at night it stands out like a sore thumb. My eyes are constantly drawn to it.
I don't know if this is just me, a common problem or something to be ignored? Is it the nature of these types of screens?
My oldest screen (the original screen that came with the rMBP) had something similar, but I never thought anything of it. Hence my confusion. Up until noticing this I was more focussed on the coating and pixel issues experienced.
Anyone else?
