So I have my new retina - just replaced a 15" MBP.

Its wired into my Thunderbolt equipped cinema display. Both screen in to maximise real estate.

The new retina screen has a distinct pink tinge to it - especially compared to the Cinema display and indeed my previous 15" MBP.

Is that normal? Will it get better once its burned in?

Is there a way to correct it to make the white's look more white?

Have you tried creating a custom display profile and see if that helps?

LG or Samsung screen?

Did you ever get this problem fixed? My retina screen just started having a pink hue. Then it turned to a green hue (at startup). Then, the bottom portion of the screen was freezing for about 3-5 seconds with whatever picture was there then releasing and then moving on.
Then it all went away and was fine for a few days. The pink is back again now.

Well...in the end I just decided to live with it ....it wasn't ideal but I just got used to it I think.
