Have you noticed that because of the new screen that images on Facebook look blurry?

Comparing images from the iPad 2 to the new iPad is like night and day. It has almost ruined my experience of the Facebook app.

I guess this is a positive, but also funny.

Slight pixelation on them. I use a DSLR so pretty high quality to begin with and look awesome when downloading. But, yeah most sites have some slight pixelation due to the super high res screen.

----------

Because its not optimized in HD yet.

Oh they look fine on my 1080p 24" monitors but the retina iPad is a bit past HD.

It has nothing to do with the app being optimized. If people post crappy looking pictures they will look crappy regardless

I think it has to due with the fact that facebook downsizes all images uploaded. The pixalation is more notticeable on the hi-res iPad screen.

It's pretty ugly to look at.

When you upload photos to Facebook, they usually upload high res versions also, so once the app is updated I am sure many photos will look better.

facebook will be one of the last apps to get updated for retina.. look how long it took them just to get a app out for the ipad  not to mention they said timeline support soon since december and its way past soon.

Whenever I'm feeling dumb, I find reading few threads on MacRumors always boosts my confidence.
