Hi, a few days ago i received my new RMBP, i love your forum/web site so i wondered if you can help me, i had a strange issue:

my Mac doesn't go to sleep in a reasonable time, sometimes it takes 30s sometimes 2 min.
I always installed App for App Store except for GFXcardstatus, i tried to use the "purge" command and also i monitored some process but i didn't see something strange.

I'm sorry for my English but it's not my mother language :)

Can you help me? I'm gonna to go crazy :D

I experienced this a long time ago. I think I was running Snow Leopard at the time, but perhaps the problem still exists. Check that you have no unfinished print jobs - I found that deleting print jobs which hadn't been completed yet removed the excessively long time it was taking for my Mac to enter sleep mode. It's certainly a bizarre solution but it worked for me.
