I have to wait until the end of July for my retina mac (unless Apple ships faster than expected) so I cannot test any of this software under boot camp but has anyone else tested these programs?
If the machine can run at it's full native resolution under windows and run solidworks smoothly it will be invaluable, a full high res view of assembly and it will not matter if you cannot see something because it is small, just zoom in.
Key word being smoothly, it's obviously not a full blown workstation but has anyone tested it at all to see how this stuff runs?

I ordered an early mbp 2011 just because of it's power and GPU and expecting it to run thos softwares smoothly. If mine can so can retina.
