Retreiving a deleted mailbox

Really screwed up and deleted a heap of emails and need help!!!

Using Mail
Removed my old account through hitting minus in the accounts preferences window.
Now I can't find the mailbox with lots of important stuff in it. Checked mail trash, general trash and searched for the POP-account folder and can't find it anywhere.

Using Panther on eMac, Mail is v1.3.11 version 622

any help would be coooool :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:
