Hi!
I have recently moved Macs using Time Machine, and FCP7 is asking for my serial number, the hard copy of which is long since lost.
I have opened "Final Cut Studio System ID" from Library>Application Support>ProApps, using a plist editor.
I can see my user name and organization clear as day, but the data string listed as "100-6" bears no resemblance to an FCP serial number, which is usually three or four number/letter combinations separated by dashes.
Can anyone help me figure this out... I am so close, yet so far from retrieving my serial number!
Thanks
Tim
