Retrieve Mail messages

I deleted my account on Mail 6.2 and then recreated it. However, I lost all my old emails. Where are them all? in Library/mail? can i import them all back to Mail.

I run Mail 6.2 on mac os x 10.8.2

When you delete a Mail account it deletes all the emails associated with it. Have you got a TM backup?

Old emails are also deleted at the time you delete the account. And with that there is no way to retrieve it too.
