Retrieving lost Picture Libary Folder

a mate of mine has lost her picture libary folder, she deleted it by mistake like we all do from time to time (even out of trash)

shes Running Lastest Version of Tiger on her iBook G4,

she asked me how she could get it back, i asked to check in spotlight to see if there was any pictures that are still on the computer, and nothing has been found..

Is there a way of Getting the Data Back?

Maybe a a Utility of some sort as she has lost all of her pictures

Hi!

I can recommend Data Rescue II from here.

The most important thing: She has Stop using the Mac immediately, otherwise she runs into the danger that her library file will get overwritten (because the space it took up is now marked as empty and will be uses by Mac OS X).

Best thing to do: hook up her Mac with a firewire cable to another one and start up hers in Target Disk Mode (hold down T at startup, so it will show up as external hard drive on the Mac it's connected to).
Through this nothing will be overwritten, only by booting up her Mac.
