Hey y'all. Been a frequent visitor/lurker of MacRumors in the past, and have found many answers here. Respect the heck out of this forum. Finally found one that I didn't see answered here, and need some help.

After over a year and half of never deleting any of my texts (excluding Tweets and useless SMS messages, I kept all texts my friends have ever sent me) I finally got a message that my SMS Inbox was full. I deleted a few threads that were irrelevant to me to make sufficient room until I was able to pull the texts off my phone. I have been searching around for a way to do this, and have found that it is possible, but only if you jailbreak your phone. Is there any way that anyone knows that you can retrieve texts off the phone (and save them into a word document or something) without jailbreaking it? I would prefer not to do jailbreak, and I would prefer not to lose a year and a half worth of text messages. It's fun to have a written record of things, and my iPhone kind of acts as a history of the last year and a half.

If anyone knows of a way to do this, I'd be really, really grateful :)

Thanks in advance.
