Retrospect Express cannot "see" the Iomega USB Hard Drive connected to my MacBook. So, it is not a choice in "Backup set type," a necessary condition to use the device for its intended purpose. Anybody know a work-around???

Any particular reason why you want to use Retrospect? Gave up on it years ago... so clunky. Would you consider using another backup option?

Software Other Than Retrospect

I'd be delighted to use something other than Retrospect. Any suggestions??

I was a beta tester for Retrospect 1.0 back in the 90s when it first came out, and I haven't bothered with it for years. They really gave up any serious commitment to the Mac platform long ago. Now they seem mostly irrelevant to it. I actually have an older Windows version running on a laptop with Win2K.

I use TimeMachine and SuperDuper now.
