i ordered 3 iPhone 4 by mistake and received all yesterday ( i only needed one) , 2 phones are still sealed and i want to return it for a full refund, there is a return prepaid label included in the box , its a USPS label with strange address on it (SMART RETURN LABEL) and i don't see any insurance on that label either, is it safe to return my phone using that label (what if its lost)? can some one please share their experience return iphone 3g or 3gs in past to AT&T using that smart label and getting their refund. thank you

Have you called att about it?

If they only charge you for one then keep the other two!!! They haven't even charged me for the only one I ordered yet, and I got it yesterday.

If you received a phone in the mail from AT&T, you should return it to the store.

1. The process and the refund is much faster.
2. The process is much more reliable, as you're directly overseeing its safe return.

they will change you if they shipped i am sure !

worst case..they'll charge you full price for the extra phone which is like $600 i believe. you can easily sell that on ebay or craigslist for around $1000 right now and make an extra $400 which would basically pay for your 2 phones that you're keeping (assuming they are all 16gb)

they are $32 gb phones , if i sell it on eBay or craiglist.. should i activate it or not ?

I'll ask the question.. how did you "ordered 3 iPhone 4 by mistake"? Seems like a pretty hard mistake to make.

i ordered 3 thinking i will keep them but later i knew i wont keep two but didnt cancel order as that would have canceled the 3rd one too (all on the same order) and might have messed up my pre-order
