hi guys

i got my iPhone 3G yesterday at apple store uk, and i'm quite worried about this hardware revision and O2's network

i'm getting one bar at home - which for me is unacceptable.
I live in zone 2 central london - not in the highlands of scotland.

and generally its flicking between 3G and edge all the time.

the battery life issues i am sure you all know about

but i didnt realise they had changed the pins on the dock connector
so my bose sound dock wont charge it any more ARRRGGGHH.

also the camera seems worse than on my original iPhone.

now some of this may be fixed in future updates - but it feels
like i'm testing it for them.

ill keep going over the weekend - but i may well be returning it on monday.

i take it they will return and refund/cancel contract as long as its within the 14 days return period thats on the receipt.

i think theres just too many issues with this phone at the moment.

yes, o2s grace period is 14 days

one bar of 3g is just as good as 3-4 of edge for call quality

and many issues will be fixed in the coming updates

in central london, are there not lots of cloud wifi hotspots? making the 3g unnecessary...
