I couldn't live with the signal issues so I returned the phone today w/o any problems. BB guy tried to tell me it was a software glitch, but that was all the resistance I got from them.
An interesting thing occurred though when trying to reverse the upgrade. AT&T gave the CS a phone number to call and leave a message. The explanation was that so many were returning the iphone and that AT&T couldn't reverse upgrades real-time, so you were to leave your info on a recorded message and they would get to it later.
My question is this: I have sold my 3GS when I bought the 4 and do not have a phone. I plan on getting another Iphone when the issues get resolved. If I keep paying my monthly bill, I remain on unlimited data, right; even though I haven't reactivated my old phone?
Related, if I do buy an Iphone off craigslist to hold me over, what will happen to the unlimited plan? What do I look for to transfer to a used 3gs?
