Returned an iPhone per instructions. FedEx delivery proof received by their 3rd party warehouse in Lebanon TN. Apple status still showing “received by carrier” after 3 days. Apple support says refund will be received 5 days after receipt. Is this normal?

I would be patient as it can take couple of days for them to process the return. It's possible they may have received high volumes of returns that still needs to be processed. I had to return an item that purchased from the Apple Store online that I had to return. Fedex tracking did say it was delivered. It took 3-4 days after it was delivered to process the returns. So it is normal.

Very normal.

Everytime I have traded in, they take awhile to process all the returns.

I just got my TIK yesterday and my heavy, clunky 16 Pro is going back to Apple in Elk Grove, CA.

Feels so good to get rid of that heavy phone and be so tickled with the Air.

I traded in my iPhone in-store through the upgrade program, but the Apple Store app still shows that the trade-in process is incomplete. I assume there are a lot of phones to process. On the other hand, my citizen loan was already paid off by Apple.

I tracked my 16PM trade in and Apple said my trade had been accepted the day after it was delivered to the trade in partner. Seemed quicker than years before.

Yep, same with wife’s Apple Watch. My initial post was just a straight return.
