I purchased a copy of Parallels their website last spring. My Mac is doing strange things and what I really want to do is save everything and just reboot my Mac and start it over like when I first got it. However I don't want to loose my Parallels or my Windows XP. I have Windows XP on a disc but I purchased Parallels on the web . Is there a way to download a working copy of Parallels so it will work after I reboot my computer? Also will doing this affect my copy of Windows XP?
I am still a bit new to the Mac so any help is most appreciated.

as long as you have your registration number for parallels you should be okay with redownloading it after you reboot (i assume you mean reformat?) your computer.

if parallels has released a paid upgrade since you purchased it, then you should try burning a backup of the application and your preferences.
