Return of the King game has bad graphics?

I just recently purchased the game; Return of the King for my Mac however the graphics are horrible on it! I think it may have something to do with my graphics card.

The system requirements for this game are;

-Mac OS X 10.2.6 or higher (I have 10.5.7)
-1GHz or faster (I have 2GHz)
-256MB of RAM (I have 1GB)
-3D Graphics Acceleration (ATI Radeon 7500/NVIDIA GeForce2 or better (I have NVIDIA GeForce 9400M)

So my question is, why won't this game show the correct graphics for the game? The graphics are all colored, and blocky-like.

Have you checked if there is a patch for it ? It's an oldish game, and one that simply may not be compatible with your hardware / operating system.

Just looked at the game requirements on Aspyr's website and I think I have found your problem.
