I managed to add a line to get a 6 Plus for personal pickup at Apple last night. Does anyone know if I can cancel the pickup when I get to the store and exchange my 6 on my current line for the 6 Plus since it's still under the 14 days?

Basically cancel the line I added and just swap my current 6 on my main line for the Plus.

The consensus seems to be that this worked during the first week, and Apple is catching on and clamping down, as is AT&T (by delaying the reset on eligibility). There have been some reports saying the Apple employee can easily make the switch. There are others where the Apple employee insists that once you process the return, the phone goes back into inventory where it will likely be snatched up before you can re-order in the store. Good luck and tell us what happens.

Thanks for the heads up, guess we'll see what they say
