In case you weren't aware of it, all Apple products purchased between November 1st and December 25th are eligible for the extended holiday return policy. You have until Jan. 8th to return your items for a full refund.

Apple knows after owning something for 11 weeks you will be reluctant to part with it especially after you already paid your credit card.

I waited till the very last day of my return two years ago to exchange a 32GB iPad Mini for a 128GB. I also did the same thing at BestBuy back in June with my MBP. I had 45 days to return and waited till the last day to exchange to for the MBP with the 16GB RAM.

True to some extent, the other thought is people buying early and keeping the device sealed until 25 December, as such 7 weeks is used up. In my case I'm using the device, just trying to get used to the size.

I've 'tried' things before by exercising the 14 day online order return period but not to the extent of 11 weeks. In the case of the IPP I'll use it a few more weeks to get used to the size.
