What's Apple's policy if I decide to return my XS Max with Belkin Glass Screen Protector purchased and applied at Apple? I know they would take back the phone and silicone case within the 14 days, but will I get reimbursed for the $39 I paid for the screen protector if I'm experiencing mobile connection issues?

I wonder if Apple will reimburse anyone who bought the screen protector from them that has already been applied to the phone and happens to just randomly returned everything because they changed their mind?

I'm asking because the screen protector is deemed useless whereas the phone and case can still be sold refurbished (or whatever Apple does with them).

Thanks.

you can return the screen protector and will refund you the money. I just did this yesterday. They asked for the screen protector to be removed and I handed them the screen protector.

I did the same thing yesterday. $42 dollar screen protector, where if something were to happen, my apple care + replacement it’s only $29 bucks for a brand new screen lol. So, I’m rocking my gold iPhone X’s max naked , feels good !

As mentioned it’s no problem to return the screen protector within the 14 day period

Why did they ask for the screen protector to be removed?

Thanks everyone. I'm still testing the mobile connection on the XS Max. I have until 10/31 to make an exchange/return which I might just do if the issues I'm experiencing persists.

Because they want it back. I kept the phone.

Last year I returned the phone a long with the screen protector but they ended up removing the screen protector

I'm not understanding why Apple wants your screen protector...LOL. Did you decide you didn't want the screen protector, returned it, so Apple removed it, and most likely, sent it back to Belkin?

Because you are returning your screen protector for your money back, therefore you certainly can't keep the screen protector obviously (Common Sense). So that's why they take the screen protector. Even if you were to return it with the device, Apple themselves will remove it from the device itself. Now I don't know what they do with the returned screen protector.

Wow... they accept the return of an already applied screen protector? I didn’t know that. I think that is pretty generous because you can’t re-use them but now that I am thinking about it they can’t really re-use used cases either...(does anyone know if they just throw it away?)

That’s interesting to know for sure...

LOL. Got it. You obviously had the SP applied to your phone and decided to return it. And even though, the screen protector couldn't be resold, Apple still took it back, regardless. Sorry, I just wasn't clear on this.

You are fine. Yep I had the SP applied to my phone, and the reason why I decided to return the SP is because it had a rainbow effect up at the top notch area, which was very bothersome when I look at the phone directly at it. But yes Apple does take it back and won't let you keep it.

Yes they do. I even asked when they first applied it and you have 14 days and you don't like the screen protector just come back to the store with it and the receipt and they will take back the screen protector and refund you the money.
