Return scratched 8GB for a 16GB?

My under two-week old 8 gig has a small scratch on the screen and I've already used up more than half of the storage space. Do you think I could return it to AT&T and get the 16 gig without any problems? I don't mind paying the 10% re-stocking fee.

I've also thought about buying one of those refurbs and selling it to cover the cost difference. Do you think that would work?

Yes. I think you should, but buy a screen protector simultaneously.

not sure what the return policy is at AT&T, but I guess it couldn't hurt to try it if you really want a 16gb-- I just don't know if they take back a damaged item or not.
