Yesterday my MBP battery died so I plugged it in and left the room for it to charge. When I returned in about an hour i noticed the light on the charger was not on nor was i charging. I plugged it back in after waiting 5 minutes and seems to be fine now.

My question. Should I take the charger to the apple store for a replacement?

Could have been a bad connection between the Mag. and the MBP. Could also be between the adapter and the wall socket. I would sit tight and if it happens again bring it into the Apple store.

Yea its a common issue where the magsafe light doesn't turn on. I'd see if it happens more often and if so just get a free replacement from Apple.
