I'm considering purchasing a refurbished high-end 15 inch retina Macbook Pro (2.3 GHz, 16 GB RAM, GT 750M, 512 GB SSD) from the US Apple store and have it shipped to Europe (specifically Finland) with the MyUS shipping service (http://www.myus.com/). I have checked that Finland does not charge import tax on laptops or other electronic products, so it will end up being about 800 euros cheaper than buying one in Europe (because of price difference and no refurbished models being available).

My primary concerns are as follows:
1) Apple has a 14-day return policy. Since they consider it "delivered" when it reaches the place from which MyUS ships it forwards, it might take a good week for it to arrive. So basically I cannot use this policy since it will take more than that time for it to arrive here, and then be sent back to the US? Or can I use the policy at a local Apple Store regardless of where it was bought?

2) Is the warranty valid outside of the US if originally purchased in the US? Also, if I get shipped a defective unit (doesn't work at all), will warranty repair that or will it have be returned - that is, does the 1-year warranty only cover things that break or does it also cover things that are broken immediately?

3) Can MyUS be trusted with expensive computers?
